Many of us if not all of us get inspired by thought leaders, motivational speakers, keynote speakers and people that are passionate about what they have achieved. We go to events to listen to, meet these people, buy their books, have our pictures taken with them - and then go home.
Oh yes, we are supercharged immediately after the event or meeting - but, it wanes as we settle back into our everyday life. There is laundry to do, dinner to make, bills to pay, and kids to put to bed, and more. Our spark of inspiration that ignited at the event of meeting of an inspiring person or group fades. This is normal I think for most of us.
It is not that we do not care, or want to make changes in our lives or reach out and help make the world better - but we get caught up in our daily lives.
In order for the inspiration to “stick’ - we have to 1) truly believe that we can be effective and are capable, and 2) take action!
It often takes us several times of being inspired by reading, seeing, hearing or experiencing an event that pushes us to take the action.
Keep being inspired and become the person you know that you are … and you will find a way if it is important to you to fit in amongst the laundry, and kids homework and the regular daily life.
I DARE YOU!!
